Suspects have links to Iran, Hezbollah and were plotting to attack foreigners, AFP reports.

Police in Azerbaijan arrested a number of people with links to Iran and Lebanese terror group Hezbollah, AFP reported Tuesday according to Azeri state TV.
Azeri police said the detained suspects were planning attacks on foreign citizens in the Eurasian nation.

This past week my friend and I drove down to Los Angeles, CA to taste kosher wines at the 2012 Herzog International Food and Wine Festival (IFWF). The night before the IFWF we called The Cask, a new wine store on Pico, in Los Angeles, and they said they were having a wine tasting. I guess in my life, you can never taste too much wine!

Talk of a military strike on Iranian nuclear facilities is not subsiding. If diplomacy can’t head off Iran’snuclear ambitions, advocates for a military strike in Israel and the United States will only gain strength.

Talk of a military strike on Iranian nuclear facilities is not subsiding. If diplomacy can’t head off Iran’snuclear ambitions, advocates for a military strike in Israel and the United States will only gain strength.
The New York Times on Monday spelled out just how much of a challenge it would be for Israel to try to derail Iran’s nuclear program using military force. Reports Elizabeth Bumiller:
…an Israeli attack meant to set back Iran’s nuclear program would be a huge and highly complex operation…The possible outlines of an Israeli attack have become a source of debate in Washington, where some analysts question whether Israel even has the military capacity to carry it off.
